You won’t believe what these frogs can do

Look up in the sky! It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s… a frog?!

Certain species of frog, such as the Gliding tree frog or Wallace’s Flying Frog, have the incredible ability of flight. Approximately 3400 species of frog are able to leap and soar from tree to tree. One of the first people to observe a flying frog was British naturalist Alfred Russel Wallace, which was depicted as follows in his book The Malay Archipelago:

You really have to wonder how explorers first reacted to these air-born amphibians.
