In the Field: Zambia’s Camp Africa

Zambia is home to some of Africa’s most beloved and endangered species, spanning nearly every habitat imaginable across hundreds of thousands of square miles. And for the next two years, it’s also home to Camp Africa, a Luangwa-based camp set up to tell the story of the incredible natural beauty and extraordinary breadth of African wildlife.

Leading the Camp Africa team is Dr. Martha Holmes, one of the world’s foremost natural history production experts, who will take the team deep into Zambia to film the massive wildebeest and zebra migrations of the Liuwa Plains, along with heartwarming monkey-orphanage and elephant stories from the country’s two dedicated sanctuaries.

Keep an eye out for feature documentaries from Camp Africa coming soon to Love Nature. And until then, we’ve compiled a handful of production stills from the team’s incredible journey.
